Downtown Mobile building sells

Local investors paid $650,000 for a 5,500-square-foot, two-story building at 210 Dauphin St., in downtown Mobile, and a parking lot at 214 Dauphin St., according to Cameron Weavil of The Weavil Company, who represented the seller. The main building is next to the Crescent Theater and the buyers plan to develop a restaurant, bar and music venue on the property. Trey Langus of Langus Real Estaterepresented the buyers.

SBA Network Services has leased 2,200 square feet of office space at 1015 Montlimar Drive in Mobile, according to Janet Keene of Bender Real Estate Group, who represented the landlord. Justin Toomey of Stirling Properties worked for the tenant.

Ayers USA Cranes paid $370,000 for a 7,200-square-foot warehouse on U.S. 90 in Elsinore, and will use it for future expansion, according to Joe Steen of Joe Steen Real Estate, who represented the buyer. Ron Wallace of Keller Williams Realty worked for the seller.

American Car Center has leased the 2,800-square-foot former Valero service station at 5447 U.S. 90 in Tillman’s Corner are of Mobile, according to Jeff Barnes of Stirling Properties who represented the tenant. Michael Murry of Shannon Waltchack also worked for the tenant. Nathan Handmacher of Stirling Properties represented the landlord.

A local investor paid $660,000 for the former Arby’s restaurant building at 800 N. Navy Blvd., in Pensacola, Fl., according to Angie McArthur of Stirling Properties, who represented the buyer. The 3,033-square-foot building includes a drive-thru window and is available for lease. Michael Carro of Sperry Van Ness worked for the seller.

Notables: Construction is under way on a new 10,640-square-foot Dollar General store on Ala. 161 near Rose Lane in Orange Beach. Watch for Amigos Tacos to open in the food court at the Tanger Outlet Mall off Ala. 59 in Foley.
