New restaurant, church expands

An out-of-town investor paid $725,000 for the two-story, 43,500-square-foot Bel Air Park I office building at 501 Bel Air Blvd., in Mobile, according to Jason Scott and Jack Conger of Stirling Properties, who represented the seller. The Alabama Department of Human Resources occupies the entire building but will relocate by the end of the year. So both floors will be available for lease, according to the Realtors.

Exalt Community Church has leased space at 26450 Pollard Road in Daphne, according to Sharon Wright of White-Spunner Realty. The property is at the southeast corner of Pollard and Well roads and there is 2,500 square feet of warehouse space available for lease.

Poke’ Restaurant has leased 1,600 square feet of space in Southwood Place Shopping Center at 6808 Airport Blvd., in Mobile, according to John M. Delchamps of Merrill P. Thomas Company. The eatery will feature Hawaiian cuisine.

Truland Homes paid $517,000 for 17 acres off S. Highway 97 in Cantonment, Fl., and plans to develop Harmony Estates, with 44 single-family homes in the mid-$300s., according to Nathan Cox,CEO of 68 Ventures. Grant Rish of 68 Ventures handled the transaction for Harmony Estates.

National Mentor Healthcare,  a national behavioral healthcare company providing home services to adults and children, has leased 1,011 square feet of office space in the Mobile Airport Office at 3103 Airport Blvd., in Mobile, according to Jason Scott and Jack Conger of Stirling Properties, who represented the landlord.

Tyndall Credit Union has leased 1,750 square feet of space at 1501 U.S. 98 in Daphne in the Daphne Southern Gate Shopping Center, according to Colby Herrington of Herrington Realty, who represented the landlord.  Buff Teague of JLL worked for the tenant.

West Mobile Liquor is has leased 1,200 square feet in Schillinger Place shopping center at 2502 S. Schillinger Road in Mobile, according to Angie McArthur of Stirling Properties.
